Bloody Independence Day

 Bloody Independence Day

What a mesmerizing, ravishing, and bright Sunday it was. A breeze was blowing slowly, and flowers were blooming. On account of Independence Day, it was an official holiday. People gathered in various places to observe Independence Day. Lily and her two kids were celebrating National Day at a park with utter zeal and enthusiasm. The park was overcrowded. Everyone was overwhelmed with gratitude. National songs were playing loudly. She was sitting on a bench, right in front of her kids, who were playing, dancing, and enjoying themselves. One kid called her to join them. She stood up, and, as soon as, she took a step forward, she heard a loud noise. She hit the surface so hard that it rendered her unconscious. It was a suicide bomb attack. When she came to her senses, her whole body was in horrific pain. She tried to stand up, but she couldn’t. She looked all around. She saw only stampedes, heard cries, moans, and groans. Everyone was running here, and there in search of their loved ones. She was fidgeting for her kids. She mustered all her courage to stand again. She started looking for kids. She shouted, and called their names. She gazed upon her kids lying there, groaning in severe pain. She sought assistance, but no one heard her. While running for help, she skedaddled with a corpse. She was stunned. It was her dead body. She was dead.

I looked around.

The only thing I saw.

Humans all over,

But, humanity is dead.

Only hatred, and jealousy.

Cruelty, and brutality,

Hatching plots,

against brothers, and fellows.

Quenching their thirst,

with others blood.

Behold, and listen,

The man is here to help.

To care, and warmth.

To spread the love,

all over the world.
